Puppy School

Our Puppy Preschool is designed to give your pup the essential skills and socialization they need during this critical early stage of development. We focus on creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience that ensures your puppy develops into a well-mannered and balanced adult dog.

What We Cover

Our Puppy Preschool program is designed to provide your puppy with the essential skills and experiences they need to grow into a well-behaved, confident adult dog. Over six weeks, we focus on foundational training, socialization, and building trust. Your puppy will learn basic commands, polite manners, and how to interact positively with other dogs and people. We also address common challenges like mouthing, chewing, and leash walking, helping your puppy develop good habits from the start. Each session is crafted to be engaging and educational, ensuring that both you and your puppy enjoy the learning process and build a strong bond together.

Key Benefits:

Socialization: Exposure to different people, puppies, and environments in a positive setting, helping your puppy develop into a well-adjusted adult dog.

Foundation Training: Basic commands, manners, and skills to set the groundwork for future training and a happy, harmonious household.

Owner Education: Learn how to communicate effectively with your puppy, understand their behavior, and set them up for success as they grow.

Maximizing Your Experience

Book Early

Early enrollment ensures you don’t miss out on this valuable early training opportunity. Spots can fill up quickly and often have a waiting list due to high demand, so be sure to book as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Arrive Early

Arriving 10 minutes early allows your puppy to acclimate to the new environment, easing any initial excitement or nervousness. This extra time also gives you a chance to discuss any private concerns or specific questions with the trainer before the class begins.

Attendance

The main caregiver should consistently attend all classes to maintain continuity in training and learning. This consistency helps reinforce the techniques and lessons covered each week. If participants are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must accompany them to provide support and guidance, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Consistency

It’s crucial that all family members follow the same training rules at home. Inconsistent commands or differing expectations can confuse your puppy, making it harder for them to learn and retain new behaviors.

Human Learning

Human Learning: Remember, Puppy Preschool is as much for the humans as it is for the puppies! The training techniques, communication methods, and behavior insights you gain during class are just as important as what your puppy is learning.
